01 Arrive Gaungzhou
(D)Depart
from New Zealand or Australia to Guangzhou, upon arrival,
met & transferred hotel.
Day02 Guangzhou -Xian (B/L/D)
Take morning flight to Xian.
Upon arrival in Xian, tour to Big Wild Goose Pagoda, an
impressive fortress like building housing transplanted Buddhist
Scriptures, and Old City Wall. Enjoy a traditional dumpling
dinner. Check in Jianguo Hotel or similar.
Day03 Xian (B/L/D)
Morning tour to the greatest
archaeological finds of the century, more than 2, 000 year-old
Terracotta Warriors interred with the Emperor Qin Shi Huang,
and Huaqing Hot Spring, where the emperor having bath with
his concubines. Afternoon tour to Banpo Museum, where built
on Banpo Neolithic remains village which dates back to 6,
000 years ago. For dinner enjoy marvellous Tang Dynasty
Show and dinner.
Day04 Xian -Lanzhou (B/L/D)
Fly to Lanzhou, the biggest
city in the northwest of China located on the
bank of the Yellow River, tour to Iron Bridge, Yellow River
and White Pagoda Hill, where you can have a bird's eye view
of the city. Check in Jincheng Hotel or similar.
Day05 Lanzhou -Xiahe (B/L/D)
Morning coach to Xiahe, on
the way, you will enjoy the mountain scenery and unique
northwest local custom. Xiahe, known as Little Tibet, a
mysterious religious center full of monks and pilgrims.
Afternoon visit Lapuleng Lama Monastery major bases for
the Yellow Hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Check in Lapuleng
Hotel.
Day06 Xiahe -Jiayuguan (B/L/D)
Morning tour to Sanke Grassland,
gain an insight into the local nomads way of life. Afternoon
coach backs to Lanzhou and catches the overnight train to
Jiayuguan.
Day07 Jiayuguan (B/L/D)
Morning arrive Jiayuguan
Pass, western end of the Great Wall, tour of Jiayuguan Fortress,
an impenetrable fortress surrounded by 3 inner and outer
walls and several line of defence. Check in Great Wall Hotel.
Day 08 Jiayuguan - Dunhuang
(B/L/D)
Morning coach to Dunhuang,
a strategic staging post on the Silk Road with history of
more than 2, 000 years. Tour to Mingsha Hill, Crescent Moon
Lake set in an amphitheatre of sand dunes. Check in Dunhuang
Hotel.
Day09 Dunhuang-Turpan (B/L/D)
Tour to Dunhaung most famous
monument-Mogao Grottoes, popularly known as the 'Thousand
Buddha Caves', with a history of over 1600 years, the walls
of the caves are lined with Buddhist frescoes, Scriptures,
murals and sculpted figures. After dinner, take an overnight
train ride to Turpan.
Day10 Turpan (B/L/D)
Morning arrive Turpan, the
Oasis town famous for its melons and vineyards. Check in
Oasis Hotel or similar. Visit to Grape Valley to sample
the 'mare's nipple'grapes which Turpan used to ship to the
Emperor's court in Beijing. Afterwards wander through the
streets of the ruined city of Gaochang.
Day11 Turpan -Urumqi (B/L/D)
Tour to Flaming Mountain,
made famous by Master Xuan Zang, an minent monk and Buddhist
scholar on his pilgrimage to India, then Thousand Buddha
Cave. Afternoon journey by coach takes us through the desert
to Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Province. Check in Holiday
Inn or similar.
Day12 Urumqi (B/L/D)
Morning cruise on Tianchi
(Heavenly)Lake, a deep blue lake surrounded by the snowcapped
Tianshan Mountain, you will meet the local Kazakh people
living in yurts. Afternoon visit to the local Museum, and
will enjoy the performance by the kids in a local minority's
kindergarten.
Day13 Urumqi /Guangzhou (B/L/D)
Morning take flight to Guangzhou,
city tour to Chen Family Shrine, Dr. Sun-Yatsen Memorial,
Five Ram Status. Stay at Landmark Hotel or similar.
Day 14 Guangzhou /New Zealand
(B)Own arrangement until transfer to the airport for your
flight home bound. Overnight on the flight.
Day15 Morning arrive into
New Zealand, back to your sweet home.
Remarks:
1. Tour fare for Child aged 2-12 yrs is 85% of the adult
which is subject to share with two adults using rollaway
bed.
2. Land only cost: Tour starts from arrival transfer to
departure transfer within Mainland China only, excludes
any international air tickets.
