Day01 New Zealand - Beijing
Depart from New Zealand to
Beijing. Upon arrival you will be met by our CTS Guide and
transferred to your hotel.
Day02 Beijing (B/L/D)
Morning visit to the biggest
Square in the world - Tiananmen Square. Then on to one of
the biggest Imperial Palace in the World - Forbidden City,
which was home to the Emperors for over 500 years. In the
afternoon you will visit the Summer Palace where the Emperors
went to escape the heat of the city. In the evening try
the famous Peking duck banquet.
Day03 Beijing (B/L/D)
In the morning you will visit
the famous Great Wall, which was built 2000 years ago, and
was once a great protection against the northern minorities
then. In the afternoon, tour to the Ming Tombs, set in the
hills surrounding the beautiful Shishanling Valley, where
13 Emperors in the Ming Dynasty were buried.
Day04 Beijing - Hangzhou
(B/L/D)
Take a morning flight to
Hangzhou. Afternoon tour includes visiting Lingyin Temple,
is among the ten most famous Buddhist temples in China and
has a history of over 1000 years.
Day05 Hangzhou - Suzhou (B/L/D)
Visit the West Lake in the
morning. You will surely appreciate the fabled scenery such
as 'Broken Bridge', 'Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake' and
' Three Pools mirroring the Moon'. Hangzhou is famous for
Longjing Green Tea, we invite you to visit a tea plantation
and have a taste of the tea as well as acquaint yourself
with the ancient refining process of tea. In teh afternoon,
travel by coach to the Suzhou, known both as a "paradise
on earth" and " Oriental Venice". Then visit
Tiger Hill Park, built as "No.1 Scenic Place in the
State of Wu". A pagoda was built on the hill in 961,
which has begun to slant, with its top now having deviated
2.34 metres from its axial line.
Day06 Suzhou - Shanghai (B/L/D)
In the morning we will visit
Hanshan Temple, the most famous temple in this area. On
New Year's Eve, visitors flock here to hear the tollong
of the bell by the temple's abbot and to pray for a better
year. Afterwards visit one of Suzhou's famous gardens, the
"Fishing-Net Master's Garden". After lunch, we
will visit a silk factory before take a coach journey to
Shanghai, the biggest city in China.
Day07 Shanghai - New Zealand (B/L/D)
In the morning visit to Jade
Buddha Temple and then a brief sightseeing on Nanjing Road
and Bund. In the afternoon we visit Yu Garden and the Bazaar.
After dinner, transfer to the airport for your flight back
to New Zealand.
Day08 New Zealand Arrive
into New Zealand in the morning, back to your sweet home.
Remarks:
1. Tour fare for Child aged 2-12 yrs is 85% of the adult
which is subject to share with two adults using rollaway
bed.
2. Land only cost: Tour starts from arrival transfer to
departure transfer within Mainland China only, excludes
any international air tickets.
3. All prices are New Zealand dollars per person twin share
and subject to change due to the increase of hotel accommodation
& currency exchange rate flucturies are subject to minor
change upon local arrangement.
4. Extension stay could be pre-arranged on application.
5. The above group tours are subject to minimum of 10 people
for guaranteed departure. Beijing extension tour is based
on a minimum of 2 person.
