Day01 New Zealand or Australia - Shanghai (B/L/D)
Fly from New Zealand to Shanghai,
upon arrival will be met by our CTS Guide and transferred
to hotel.
Day02 Shanghai - Wuxi (B/L/D)
Morning coach to Wuxi, it
is a charming city for its picturesque Lake Taihu and green
hills snaking along the lakeside. The places of interest
and historical sites we will visit include Xihui Park, Liyuan
Park. Evening try the local famous Qianlong Banquet, which
was served to Emperor Qianlong over 300 years ago.
Day03 Wuxi - Nanjing (B/L/D)
Morning visit the biggest
standing Buddha in the world - Lingshan Buddha, then coach
to Nanjing, one of the seven famous capitals in ancient
China. Visit to Sun Yut-sen Mausoleum, built for Dr. Sun
Yat-sen, the great pioneer of the Chinese democratic revolution;
then visit the Fuzimiao, Old Quarter of the city along the
Qinghai River.
Day04 Nanjing - Suzhou (B/L/D)
Coach to Suzhou, known as
'the Paradise on earth' which remains the original layout
of the Song Dynasty. The city enjoys a particular renown
for her long history, brilliant culture, landscaped garden
and ancient architecture. Tour to the splendid scenery of
'Tiger Hill', where you can see the Leaned Pagoda built
in 400 years ago and 'Hanshan Temple', and Silk Factory
etc.
Day05 Suzhou - Hangzhou (B/L/D)
Morning visit to Fisherman
Garden, this tiny garden is a typical building complex of
ancient China, then take a short cruise on cruise on Grand
Cannal. After lunch, take Coach to Hangzhou.
Day06 Hangzhou (B/L/D) Morning take cruise on the West Lake,
located west of the city and hemmed by mountains on three
sides, you will enjoy the fabled scenery such as 'Broken
Bridge', 'Three Pools mirroring the Moon' etc. Then we go
to the West Lake Garden to see the Gold Fish. Afternoon
visit will be Lingyin Temple, which has a history of over
1000 years. Afterwards visit to a local tea plantation and
taste the rich and fresh green tea as well as acquaint yourself
with the ancient refining process of tea.
Day07 Hangzhou - Shanghai (B/L/D)
Coach to Shanghai, the biggest
city in China. Visit to Yu Garden (Mandarin Garden), a classical
landscape in the southern Chinese style with a history of
more than 400 years then on to Chenghuang Miao Bazaar, the
old quarter of the city
Day08 Shanghai (B/L/D)
Tour to the Bund, a popular
promenade along the Huangpu River, then takes cruise on
the Huangpu River. After lunch, a visit to Jade Buddha Temple
before we do shopping at Nanjing Road shopping street.
Day09 Shanghai - New Zealand or Australia(B)
Morning at own leisure, late
afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Day10 New Zealand Morning arrive into New Zealand, back
to your sweet home.
Remarks
1. Tour fare for Child aged 2-12 yrs is 85% of the adult
which is subject to share with two adults using rollaway
bed.
2. Land only cost: Tour starts from arrival transfer to
departure transfer within Mainland China only, excludes
any international air tickets.
3. All prices are New Zealand dollars per person twin share
and subject to change due to the increase of hotel accommodation
& currency exchange rate flucturies are subject to minor
change upon local arrangement.
4. Extension stay could be pre-arranged on application.
5. The above group tours are subject to minimum of 10 people
for guaranteed departure. Beijing extension tour is based
on a minimum of 2 person.
