days Tour to Beijing, Xian, Suzhou & Shanghai
Day 01 New Zealand or australia- Beijing
Fly from New Zealand to Beijing.
Upon arrival you will be met by our CTS guide and transferred
to hotel.
Day 02 Beijing (B/L/D)
Tour to Forbidden City, the
vast complex of palaces, which was home to successive Emperors
for more than 500 years. In the afternoon visit the Tiananmen
Square, the biggest square in the world and Beihai Park,
the royal garden in the old days. After dinner enjoy an
unforgettable night with the amazing Beijing Acrobatics.
Day 03 Beijing (B/L/D)
Morning tour to the Great
Wall, stretching almost 4,000 miles from the Pacific Ocean
to the sands of Central Asia and befittingly crowned one
of the ten wonders of the world. After lunch visit to Ding
Ling underground palace, one of the final resting-places
for the 13 Emperors of the Ming Dynasty. For dinner enjoy
a traditional Beijing Duck banquet.
Day 04 Beijing (B/L/D)
Tour to Temple of Heaven,
the 500-year-old Temple houses altars on which sacrifices
and offerings were laid to the gods in a glorious setting
of gardens, trees and sculptures. Afternoon tour to Summer
Palace, the largest and best preserved of all imperial palace
gardens which boast such delights as the famous Marble Boat
and the ornately painted 'Long Corridor'. Afternoon we visit
to Dongbeiwang Farm to experience the local farmer's life
before we head to Beijing Zoo to see the lovely pandas.
After dinner, board on a traditional Chinese sculled cruise
on Houhai Lake, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery while
listening to Chinese music played by a local girl on board.

Day 05 Beijing - Xian (B/D)
Free time to explore Beijing
on your own pace, afternoon transfer to train station for
overnight train #41 1710/0741 (soft berth deluxe class four
share cabin) to Xian.
Day 06 Xian (B/L/D)
Morning arrival in Xian,
transfer to your hotel to unpack before an afternoon Xian
city tour to Great Mosque; City Wall, which was constructed
600 years ago and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. After dinner, please
enjoy a traditional Tang Dynasty show. Check in Jianguo
Hotel or similar.
Day 07 Xian (B/L/D)
Morning tour to the greatest
archaeological finds of the century, more than 2,000 year-old
Terracotta Warriors interred with the Emperor Qin Shi Huang,
and Huaqing Hot Spring, where the emperor having bath with
his concubines. Afternoon tour to Banpo Museum, where built
on Banpo Neolithic remains village which dates back to 6,000
years ago.
Day 08 Xian - Shanghai (B/L/D)
Take morning flight to Shanghai;
visit to Shanghai Museum in the afternoon. Check in at New
Asia Hotel or similar.
Day 09 Shanghai (B/L/D)
Morning tour to the Bund,
a popular promenade along the Huangpu River, where the old
meets the modern in Shanghai, then to Yu Garden. Afternoon
we visit Jade Buddha Temple.
Day 10 Shanghai - Suzhou / Shanghai (B/L/D)
Day tour to Suzhou, a town
so called Oriental Venice. We will visit the Lingering Garden,
Tiger Hill and a short cruise on the Grand Canal. Late afternoon
coach back to Shanghai.
Day 11 Shanghai - New Zealand (B/L/D)
Morning free activities,
after lunch, cruise on Huangpu River, afterwards visit Pudong
Economy Zone allows you experience China's booming economy.
After dinner transferred to the airport for your flight
back home.
Day 12 Morning arrival into New Zealand, back to your sweet
home!
Remarks:
1. Tour fare for Child aged 2-12 yrs is 85% of the adult
which is subject to share with two adults using rollaway
bed.
2. Land only cost: Tour starts from arrival transfer to
departure transfer within Mainland China only, excludes
any international air tickets.
3. All prices are New Zealand dollars per person twin share
and subject to change due to the increase of hotel accommodation
& currency exchange rate flucturies are subject to minor
change upon local arrangement.
4. Extension stay could be pre-arranged on application.
5. The above group tours are subject to minimum of 10 people
for guaranteed departure. Beijing extension tour is based
on a minimum of 2 person.
