The ancient city of the Lu Kingdom (luguo gucheng), a kingdom that flourished in the Spring and Autumn Period of the Zhou Dynasty, is a square complex, built strictly according to the construction ideals of the time. Ten major roads run within the city, while one south-north road serves as the axis, which starts from the palace, passes the southeastern gate and finally reaches the Yue Altar. The palace is located in the center of the city, surrounded by tall walls.
How to get there: The best way to get there is to hire a pedicab, but be prepared for hard bargaining,or take bus No.5 to get there.
